CONSORT Library of Examples

This section of the website contains a Library of Examples of good practice in reporting randomised trials.

The aim of this section is to help people identify good reporting by showing more examples of how it works in practice.  We hope that this will help authors and researchers to improve the quailty of reporting.

  1. Select a CONSORT item on the left-hand menu to see a collection of examples of good practice
  2. If you have seen an example of good practice, you can add it to our Library.  Log in first and tell us about it.

How the library works

The Library of Examples is user-driven.  That means that we rely on you to send us examples that you think merit inclusion.

Click this button to submit your own ExamplesPerhaps there is a gap in the coverage of our library that relates to your area of practice, or pehaps you have some teaching material that you'd like to share with our community of users.

If you Register and submit your example, a member of our team will get in touch with you when it has been added.  You won't be identified as the source unless you give your permission.

Note that, for the moment, we are only looking for examples of good reporting, not bad!
